Prior to Cypress, Len was an Executive Affiliate of Hamilton Robinson Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm. He focused on deal generation and CEO advisory, in particular with manufacturing and industrial firms that produced highly-engineered products.

Earlier in his career Len founded Crystal R&D, Inc., an FDA registered precision contract manufacturer that utilized the latest advances in third generation technology in CNC and Quality equipment to transform Crystal R&D into a world-class manufacturer.

Mr. LaPorta received his undergraduate degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1987 and served with distinction as a Surface Warfare Officer for 6 years. He received his MBA from Boston College.
